About this policy
EduFlow is a product of quorbitlabs. This policy explains how information is handled when schools, school staff and students use EduFlow for learning management and school administration.
EduFlow requires a school login. School administrators create user accounts and administer their school's use of the service. The app has no advertisements. School subscriptions are arranged outside the app.
Information processed
Depending on the features used by a school, EduFlow processes:
- School, teacher and student account information needed to manage accounts and sign in, including names, account identifiers, email addresses and phone numbers supplied for the service.
- Photos supplied for school accounts or school activities.
- Attendance records, assignments, quizzes and related learning records.
- Staff payroll records and school administration information entered into the service.
- Performance information used for school analysis.
- Messages exchanged within the user's school, including private one-to-one messages.
- Files, documents, book knowledge-base content and prompts used in learning and to generate quizzes and assignments.
- Technical crash reports and error logs sent to EduFlow's server. These reports contain technical errors, not names, email addresses, phone numbers or message contents.
- Information you provide when contacting support or requesting account or data deletion.
Schools determine which records they enter and which school accounts they create. Contact your school administrator about information your school holds or enters into EduFlow.
EduFlow does not use location tracking or collect voice recordings. The operator confirms that device identifiers are not transmitted to a server.
How information is used
Information is used to operate school accounts, provide attendance and learning-management features, enable school communication, manage payroll, analyze school performance, generate educational content and respond to support and deletion requests. Technical crash reports and error logs help diagnose and fix service problems.
Access to EduFlow requires school-issued sign-in credentials. School administrators manage their school's accounts. Keep your credentials private and report account-access concerns to your school administrator or quorbitlabs.
Personal information is encrypted in transit between the app and the service.
Storage and service providers
EduFlow stores school records using PostgreSQL databases. Infrastructure and service providers may process information as necessary to operate the service. Information entered into EduFlow is used within the school's administration and learning workflows.
The AI service used for content generation is Anthropic's Claude API, as described below.
AI-assisted educational content
EduFlow uses retrieval-augmented generation to retrieve excerpts from a book knowledge base and generate quizzes and assignments with the Claude API. Book excerpts and educational-generation prompts are sent to this service. Student and staff personal records are not sent to Claude for these features.
Users should not include personal information in content-generation prompts. AI-generated educational material should be reviewed by school staff before use.
Students and school-managed accounts
EduFlow portal accounts are intended for school staff, parents or guardians, and students aged 13 or older. Students under 13 are not given direct portal access; parents or guardians use their own accounts to manage the school relationship. School administrators must apply this account-access restriction when creating and administering accounts. Accounts are created by school administrators rather than through public self-registration. Schools are responsible for authorizing account access and providing any notices or permissions required for their use of student information.

Retention, correction and deletion
School records are kept while needed to provide school services. Account and data deletion requests are handled on request, subject to applicable legal requirements.
To request deletion of an EduFlow account and associated data, or to ask about correcting a record, email info@quorbitlabs.com. Identify your school, the account concerned and the information you want deleted or corrected. Do not include passwords in the request.
School administrators can also help with school-managed account and record requests. Some information may need to be retained to meet legal requirements. Contact support for information about a particular request.
